Cancellation and Refund Policy
Big Year Birders Refund Policy
Refunds and cancellations are available according to the following schedule:
Prior to invoicing: If notice of tour cancellation is received prior to invoicing (100 days before departure or more), the deposit – less the non-refundable amount of $20 – and any payments are refundable.
After invoice has been received:
60 to 100 days before November 5: 50% of the trip is non-refundable.
31 to 60 days before November 5: 75% of the trip is non-refundable.
less than 31 days before November 5: 100% of the trip is non-refundable.
If notice of cancellation is received after a tour has been confirmed and/or 31 days before departure, all deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Transfers may be possible, but additional fees including a $100 transfer fee will be added to any transfer. Transfers are not allowed less than 31 days before the first day of a trip. Please reach out to tour organizers if you wish to transfer your tour.
No refunds are given for skipped meals or other on-tour activities. This includes leaving early or arriving late for the tour.
